Since 2017, the Tarocash community has been helping to make wishes come true and today we celebrate an incredible milestone—raising $1 million for Make A Wish Australia!
This journey has been nothing short of inspiring, filled with generosity, creativity, and countless acts of kindness.

 Make-A-Wish works in partnership with sick children, their families and medical teams to deliver unforgettable wish experiences – each as individual and unique as the child who imagined it. From the simple to the seemingly impossible, wishes empower critically ill kids with hope and joy when they need it most.

 When you walk into any Tarocash store across Australia and New Zealand, you may be asked by our friendly team if you would like to make a small donation to Make-A-Wish. Your small donation will contribute to Tarocash’s ongoing commitment to providing joy and hope for sick children and their families.

 During the weeks, months and often years of treatment, there’s little opportunity for sick kids to just be kids, and enjoy moments other families take for granted.
Make-A-Wish brings amazing people together to grant inspirational, life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Their mission is to grant the wish of every eligible child – a quest sparked by the belief that a wish is integral to a child’s treatment.
Over 35 years of wish family experiences, along with a growing body of international research, shows that wishes transform the lives of sick kids, their families and communities. Each wish is carefully designed and delivered to complement medical treatment, working to calm, distract and empower sick kids at the time they need it most. When a wish is realised, a child discovers that despite their situation, anything is possible.
 
For everyone involved, wishes have a remarkable uplifting and positive impact – well beyond the wish itself.
 
Make-A-Wish receives no government funding and relies solely on the generosity of businesses, volunteers, and the public to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. Every dollar helps to create more wishes, which is why community support is so important.
