DON'T FORGET FATHER'S DAY IS THI SUNDAY 5 SEPTEMBER!

With Father’s Day just around the corner, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to reach out to the Dads out there and ask them some questions about what being a Dad means to them.

We asked former Cowboys NRL player, Antonio Winterstein, some questions about being a busy Dad to his girls:

What do you enjoy most about being a Dad?

“The best thing about being a dad is to watch my children grow, master a new skill, or overcome a fear. I see the joy in their eyes when they learn how to master a cartwheel or read a book, those moments are priceless.”

As a Dad, what’s the best advice you will give your children growing up?

“You are enough! There is nothing you have to do to prove you are enough. Whatever you do, whatever happens, Daddy will always be proud of you.”

Father’s Day will be a bit different this year in lockdown, but have you got anything special planned for the day?

 “Plenty of hugs and kisses.”

We spoke to sporty dad of 2 Malakai about his Father’s Day plans:

What do you enjoy most about being a Dad?

“The thing I enjoy the most about being a Dad is honestly everything, I enjoy watching them grow, develop, learn, laugh and being there every step of the way is such a blessing to me.”

As a Dad, what’s the best advice you will give your children growing up?

“The best advice I can give them is to embrace failure, treat it as a learning curve and not be afraid to try new things in life even if that means that you might fail, and most of all hard work and sacrifice leads to success.”

Father’s Day will be a bit different this year in lockdown, but have you got anything special planned for the day?

“It's definitely going to be a different one, but I'm looking forward to being stuck indoors all day with my little ones, we will be having a nice big breaky and watching movies all day. (I'm quite a movie buff so this is my favourite thing to do).”

Whether you’re a Dad who is a master of bad jokes, a BBQ King, or a sporty Dad who loves to coach – we want to wish you all a Happy Father’s Day!
