This year, as we celebrate World Wish Month, transformation, and joy, we’re reminded of just how powerful a single wish can be. For the child, it’s a chance to dream again. For their family, it’s a breath of hope. For the community, it’s a reminder that we are stronger together.
To celebrate our partnership, Tarocash hosted Bake-A-Wish, bringing our community together to support Make-A-Wish whilst enjoying some home baked treats. We were also lucky enough to have Make-A-Wish Ambassador, Michael, join us to share his story and to talk more about the positive impact Make-A-Wish has on people’s lives.
Who Are Make-A-Wish Australia?
Make-A-Wish Australia create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, bringing joy, strength, and hope when it’s needed most. Every wish is carefully tailored to the child’s imagination, from becoming a superhero for a day to swimming with dolphins or flying in a helicopter. But a wish is so much more than a moment in time.
A wish changes everything. It’s a powerful turning point for the child and their loved ones—a moment of pure joy during some of the hardest times of their lives. And with over 11,000 wishes granted since 1985, Make-A-Wish has shown us all what’s possible when a community comes together to support something truly meaningful.
