Before we pick your brain for styling tips… tell us a little bit about yourself…
I came to Tarocash expecting to be here for a short time. I ended up absolutely loving working for the company and here I am 3 years later. I live in Adelaide in South Australia with my dog Vegas. I’m a big movie buff and my favourite time of the year is March due to the Adelaide Fringe Festival where Adelaide comes alive! My mother is Italian, and my father is Greek so you can imagine I love my food and coffee! In case you were wondering I’m kind of a big deal in the kitchen! I love to cook as much as I love to eat! I believe in working to live not living to work so always looking to tick off those travel destinations (eventually).
Tell us about the first suit you ever purchased…
I was invited to a school formal back in the day and I purchased a pinstripe black suit but can’t remember where on earth I got it from. Funnily enough, I still have it… I don’t know why as it definitely doesn’t fit anymore, maybe I’m keeping it around for sentimental value.
What’s your favourite part about your job?
What I love about this job is chatting to new & interesting people every day. I get the pleasure of meeting so many great customers to have a laugh with all whilst I show them how good they can look.
What’s your most memorable experience at work?
How can I forget this one…
A 6-man grooms party walked in the door with less than a week left until the wedding! They proceeded to tell me that the suits they purchased from another retailer were no longer going to be available due to a mix up. Safe to say, the bride was an absolute wreck as she thought her day was ruined.
I felt for them big time… but we ended up dressing the guys, tailoring their suits quick smart to fit them perfectly and they looked a million bucks! They loved their suits even more than the original ones they’d selected.
This is the best part… They came to pick up the suits after we finished the alterations with an invitation in hand to their wedding! They still come in on a regular basis and I scored 2 best mates out of it! Their loss was my gain in the end.
What are your secrets to WFH style?
I think it’s important to dress well from home so there’s still some degree of normality – I also think it helps with productivity. A pair of chinos or jeans and a smart casual shirt (like our Elliott linen blend shirt) untucked or a comfy structured knit option (something like the Liberty knit gets the job done). I’m also a fan of a simple essential tee teamed with a blazer – the Clooney blazer is a fan favourite for this look.
What do you think the biggest mistake a guy can make when shopping?
I find that most guys get put off when they see "SLIM FIT" on a product. I’m a big believer in a slim fit, I reckon you should definitely still give it a go as in my experience, it can actually be a much better-looking product no matter what size you are, particularly in shirts! The only way to know is if you try!

What is the most important thing you look for in a suit?
When looking for a suit the most important part is the shoulders. You must always ensure that the shoulders line up, and if the jacket looks baggy, we can slim it down very easily. Also, when looking at sleeve length you want to keep your arms relaxed by your sides, NOT up forward like a zombie, because you want the end of the sleeve to be at the top of the thumb / bottom of the wrist.
